The Toltec I Ching Workshop

Soul Enrichment Center

1806 E. Yandell, El Paso , Texas

The worldview that gives rise to divination is well

developed in cultures from ancient Asia and the

Americas.  This is particularly so with the I Ching

(Book of Changes) of ancient China and the Tonalpoalli

(Sacred Calendar) of ancient Mexico .  Similarities

between these ancient cultures are not coincidental,

as they share a common ancestry in the mother culture

that existed before people crossed between Asia and

the Americas .  In this workshop Temachtiani Martha

Ramirez-Oropeza will introduce these two ancient

books, through a personal reading from each book.
